After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I felt called by my true passion: cosmetology. I attended the Aveda Institute in Austin TX. After school, I worked for an Aveda salon for 4 years before starting Boss Babe Beauty. One of the many reasons I started Boss Babe Beauty ATX was to give my clients greater access to me as a stylist through open communication and more flexible working hours.

In my free time I am a certified fitness professional and health coach. My hobbies include napping with my dogs and listening to audiobooks. I am passionate about empowering women, body positivity, self-love, mental and physical wellness, and HAIR!

Jessica Taylor Color Specialist/Blonde Specialist

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Jessica embodies the fun, creative spirit of the city where she has been a stylist for the past 15 years. Jessica has a passion for creating natural looking color that shines from the inside out. She truly believes healthy hair is the best hair and will gladly show you how to achieve it.

As a color specialist, Jessica strives to stay current on new techniques and trends with classes from Oribe and Davines Celebrity Stylists, Wella Color and Balayage, and L'Oreal Professional Color. She is always thinking about how to help her clients achieve beautiful hair that is easier to style.

Her inspiration comes from fashion, her clients and classic hair icons like Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot. Her goal as a stylist is to make each client that sits in her chair feel beautiful.

Nikki Willis Cut Specialist/Color Specialist/Editorial

Born and raised in Texas, Nikki received a degree in Speech Communications from Texas A&M in 1998. In 2002, Nikki decided to change career paths and enroll in cosmetology school, graduating from Marinello's School of Beauty in San Diego, CA in 2003. As a Toni & Guy educated stylist, Nikki has a strong passion for cutting and coloring hair, as well as editorial styles. Keeping herself constantly educated, she is well versed in the latest cutting and coloring techniques. Nikki truly believes a great cut and color can transform a person. She prides herself on getting to know her clients well before deciding on the best cut and color for them so that it suits both their personality and lifestyle.
